Civil Ceremony / Mariage civil
Our civil ceremony will be held in Paris at the City Hall of the 11th arrondissement on Saturday June 7th at 12:15. Anyone who is in the city at that time is welcome to join us! 

We will then have lunch/drinks at Paolasso,a 10-minute walk away from the courthouse and at the base of our apartment building.

Our wedding ceremony will be held outside in the bamboo enclosure of the venue - our wedding planning team will be on site to help you find your seat and get settled.  

Notre cérémonie se tiendra en extérieur, au sein de la bambouseraie. Du personnel sera présent pour vous accueillir et vous installer confortablement.

We will have a transportation service to drop guests off who are staying near the venue from midnight to 5:00 am!

Important Information
The Venue
The venue for our wedding is at the Couvent Notre Dame des Prés, a 12th-century estate in the heart of the Luberon region of Provence. The closest town is Reillane, a 5-minute drive away.

We recommend looking for accomodation in the region in/around Reillane!

Access to the venue is by a country road and parking will be available upon arrival.

We will have a transportation service from midnight - 5:00am for those staying near the venue.

Notre mariage aura lieu au Couvent Notre Dame des Prés, un domaine datant du XIIème siècle, situé au cœur du Luberon. Le village le plus proche, Reillane, se trouve à moins de cinq minutes.

Nous vous recommandons de chercher un hébergement dans la région, autour de Reillane !

L’accès au domaine se fait par une route de campagne, et un parking sera disponible sur place à votre arrivée.

Un service de navettes sera également prévu de minuit à 5h du matin pour ceux logeant à proximité du lieu.
How to get there

By train:


You can take the train into Aix-en-Provence TGV station or Avignon TGV station. This is a direct route from Paris and takes about 3 hours. 

  • Aix-en-Provence TGV (about 1 hour from venue): The TGV train station is about a 25 minute drive from the city center. There is also a train station called 'Aix-en-Provence' but this will be more difficult to get to in many cases. 

Avignon TGV (about 1 hour 30 minutes from venue):
We recommend arriving at Avignon because they have more options for car rentals (it is about 10 minutes farther from the venue than Aix, but the first stop from Paris)

To book your train tickets, please visit the official SNCF website.

By plane:

If you are flying in, we would recommend landing in Paris and taking the train direct from the city center (or CDG) to either Avignon TGV or Aix-en-Provence TGV. 

However, you can also fly into the Marseille airport (Aéroport de Marignane), which is about an hour drive from the venue. Driving in Marseille can be intense so take caution!

Getting Around

Renting a car

The Provence region is rural and spread out, so we strongly reccommend renting a car!

Car rentals are available at train stations (Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille) and other towns in the area.

We recommend using Hertz, Avis, or EuropCar! We had an issue with Alamo/Enterprise/National at Aix-en-Provence TGV and want you to avoid that.

Please remember that most cars in France are manual, so remember to specify if you want an automatic!

Gorges du Verdon
The Gorges du Verdon is a river canyon that is famous world-wide. You can kayak, boat, swim, and hike around it. It is quite large but there is an entry connected to a beautiful lake called the Lac du Saint-Croix which is accessible by car.

Lourmarin
  • Lourmarin, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France, is a picturesque medieval town that is easily accessible by car and there is public parking. There is a 15th-century Chateau that you can visit as well as just enjoy the quaint town.

  • Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is another village voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. It is a charming place nestled into the mountains and has lots of shops and restaurants. It is easy to get there by car and there is public parking.

  • Considered one of the most beautiful villages in the world, Gordes is a hilltop village worth visiting.

  • Avignon is another main city in the Provence region. It is a walled medieval town that has a historic papal palace in its center, and is surrounded by a river.

French Riviera
The French Riviera is breathtaking, famous for its clear turquoise waters, scenic sea views, charming villages, and outstanding cuisine. The vibe is fantastic, and it’s easy to explore. With so much to see and experience, this region is truly unique. Saint-Tropez is just about an hour and a half away, and we highly recommend a visit to the town and its beautiful surroundings.
FAQ
Are there Airbnbs in the area?
Yes! If you are more interested in renting a house, search 'Reillane' and you will find a selection of houses in the area. We would advise booking sooner rather than later as this is a popular time to visit! 
Is there a dress code?
Think cocktail attire! Keep in mind that the region tends to be warm this time of year, and that the sun does not go down until about 10pm. There is some graveling and we will be outside for some of the event.
