Wedding ceremony
The civil ceremony will take place at the Town Hall of the 7th Arrondisement of Paris. Please note that all guests must arrive by 11:00, and the ceremony will start promptly at 11:30.
The ceremony will be in French, but we will provide some translated text, and friends will be on hand to translate further.
After the ceremony, we will move to the garden for photos.

We invite you all to join us after the ceremony at a nearby bistrot to raise a glass and toast to our mariage!

Reception & party
We have reserved a restaurant in the 9th arrondisement of Paris. We will serve dinner ("cocktail dinatoire"), drinks, and cake - which will be made by Pedro's close friend, which many call the best cake they've ever had!

FAQ
What is the dress code?
The bride and groom will be dressed formally of course! Wear what makes you comfortable, but if you are debating - we'd rather have you dress up than dress down.
Are you registered anywhere for gifts?
Your presence is truly all that matters to us.
However, we will be celebrating our honeymoon in Turkey, and we would gratefully accept any contributions towards making this trip as memorable as possible. We will have a table for cards and QR code for contributions available at the event.

Is the wedding day indoor or outdoor?
The welcome drinks, ceremony and reception will be held indoors. After the ceremony - weather permitting - we will take photos in the garden and have a champagne toast outside of Invalides.
Do I have to come to every event?
We would love to celebrate with you as much as possible, though we understand if there is an event you aren't able to attend! Please let us know in advance as spaces at the reception are limited (due to venue constraints).
How should I get to the events?
The metro is typically the easiest way to get around Paris. Solferino (12), Varennes (13) or Invalides (8) are all close to the ceremony.
Between the ceremony and reception, you can take line 12 directly from Solferino to Trinite in less than 20 minutes. You have plenty of time to make the trip as there is a break between the two events.
Ubers and Bolts are also readily available in all of Paris.

Kids are welcome at any event you wish!
Where should I stay?
Both the ceremony and the venue are located centrally in Paris. In general, staying along either Metro Line 8 or 12 is the most convenient for both of them. If you have any questions on the neighborhood, feel free to send Meghan or Pedro where you're looking and we can give you feedback.
What else should I see and do in Paris?
If you only have a few days, prioritize all the most known spots!
Notre Dame has recently reopened and is worth the visit. We personally recommend the Musee d'Orsay over the Louvre (but don't miss visiting the Tuileries and taking a photo by the pyramids in front of the Louvre). For either, think about booking in advance to skip the line. Don't miss climbing to Sacre Coeur and wandering Abbesses and Montmartre for cute shops and a beautiful view of the city. A Seine cruise is a great way to see the sights - Bateaux Mouche is easy to walk straight onto.
We would recommend only going to Versailles if you have more than a few days in Paris.
If you have seen the major sights, you could wander the cute streets around the Canal St Martin, learn about the history of Paris at the (free) Carnavelt Museum, enjoy a walk through Buttes Chaumont, or have tea time at the Grand Mosquee!
