FAQ
How to get there
All the events of the wedding during the weekend will take place in the city of Eger, Hungary.

Eger is the hometown of the bride. A beautiful city in the Northeast of Hungary known by its Wine production, Medieval castle, thermal bath and old town mixing Baroque Hungarian and Ottoman architecture.

The city is easily reachable from Budapest by car, bus or train (approximately 2h).
We recommend the regional trains going from Keleti Railway station (for example IR 87). You can purchase your tickets on the Hungarian train company app or online (MAV)
Regional buses are also available from Puskas Ferenc stadium.
How is the weather in Eger in October?
Average forecasts are of 17 degrees (between 24-12) and no rain / sunny days.
What shall I wear?
The intended dress code is Cocktail - suits for the gents and dresses for the ladies. Above all: feel confortable to party and dance with us!

The weather being Autumn / slightly cold, some warm clothes for the night are recommended.
Where shall I stay?
Eger, being a touristic city, enjoys of many alternatives of Guesthouses, Apartments and Hotels available online. Anything near the city centre - where the ceremony will take place and cabs are easily found for moving around - is recommended.

We advise you to contact us if you have any questions about where to stay.
Gifts

I want to give you guys something! What shall I bring?

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for!

Should you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution towards our future together would be sincerely appreciated.
Usually, in Hungarian weddings, these are given on hand-written lettres at the Welcome party, photo shooting and congratulations.

Keeping up with Brazilian traditions, we have also made the following link available for any contribution towards us (for example: honeymoon, apartment!).

Not tired yet? Let's look around 🇦🇹 🇸🇰 🇨🇿

First, you just need to follow the Danube, for the first two cities!

🇦🇹 Vienna / Austria
The capital of Austria, known by its refined and classic atmosphere with its Opera, Cathedrals and Castles lies only 3h away by train from Budapest.
To get there, you just need to take a train from Keleti Railway station - the same as to go for Eger! Maybe on the way back or going to the wedding? ;)
If you go there, don't forget to pass by Freud's house and eat a Schnitzel at Figlmüller (groom's favorite!).

🇸🇰 Bratislava / Slovakia
The capital city of Slovakia is the 4th largest city on the Danube (smaller than Vienna, Budapest and Belgrade) which makes it a small charm that also needs to be seen! The city is only 50 minutes away by train from Vienna, so if you made it until there you can give a further hop to see its castles, palaces and eat some Pierogis.

🇨🇿 Prague / Czech Republic
The city of 100 towers does not need much of an introduction! Home to unique sights and the wonderful Czech beer, the city of Prague will certainly remain in your heart. Make sure to pass by Charles Bridge and the old town astronomical clock. To catch your spirits back if the day is cold, make sure to drink a small absinth! Beware the green fairies!
