Travel Information
Ikaria can be reached in two ways:
✈️ By plane: from Athens, the flight takes about 40 minutes.
⛴️ By ferry: from the port of Piraeus (Athens), the journey takes 6 to 7 hours.
The island has its own airport as well as two main ports (Evdilos and Agios Kirykos).
How long would you recommend staying?
We recommend planning at least 3 to 4 days on the island. This will give you time to recover from the journey, enjoy the wedding with peace of mind, and discover some of the island’s treasures — its beaches, picturesque villages, and authentic landscapes. 🌿
Are there places to visit on the island?
Yes, Ikaria is a beautiful island well worth exploring! Here are a few highlights:

• Hot Springs – renowned for their healing properties, perfect for a relaxing moment.

Will the wedding be held outdoors?
Yes, both the ceremony and the reception will take place outdoors in the vineyard, surrounded by the vines. ✨
Evenings in Ikaria can be a little cool, so we recommend bringing a light jacket.
What transportation options are there?
There is no public transportation on the island.
We recommend renting a scooter or a car to get around easily and enjoy Ikaria with complete freedom.

Several hotels and Airbnbs are available on the island.
We especially recommend Daidalos Hotel and Karras Star Hotel, both ideally located near the estate.
If you choose other accommodation, please make sure it is on the Evdilos side, in the north of the island (blue zone on the map), and not on the Agios Kirykos side, in the south (red zone). This will allow you to stay closer to the wedding venue and make your travels much easier.

Cocktail Reception & Evening Celebration
After the ceremony, we will gather for a cocktail reception at the heart of the Tsantiris vineyard, enjoying local flavors and the estate’s own wine. The evening will continue with a dinner, blending Greek cuisine with international inspirations, before moving into the celebration: a traditional Greek band will set the tone, followed by a modern group that will keep us dancing late into the night.
